Just before Christmas I went out to buy wrapping paper. I came back with a pair of Caterpillar boots and asked husband to give them to me for Christmas. Wrapped in the paper I did remember to buy. They were an excellent investment and have performed brilliantly in the snow, keeping my feet warm and dry and keeping me vertical. I realise they’ve featured in a few posts already but I’m just making them cost effective.
Now you may wonder what the glinty pendant round my neck is. It is, in fact, a Swarovski giraffe. Not the first time giraffes have made it onto the blog either – see 4th January and 17th January. And each of them was bought for me by husband, who has a severe giraffe addiction. I have a severe giraffe affliction.
But I see that Missoni have sanctioned giraffes as animals worthy of £204 in earring form, featured in March’s UK Elle, so I must be on trend. Right?
For further giraffery, see this brilliant blog my friend emailed me – 1 million giraffes. http://www.onemilliongiraffes.com/
