undressed2012

{February 11, 2012}   10th February

Hurrah! Finally managed to remove the invisibility cloak from yesterday’s outfit! I love dresses – they’re so easy to bung on when you’re barely concious in the morning. Gracefully50, who I follow, knows how to wear a dress – check out this stylish and sophisticated outfit at http://gracefully50.com/2012/01/30/stripes-buttons/

Today I picked up February’s US InStyle – my absolute favourite fashmag. They always have loads of outfit suggestions with either the clothes laid out flat or on headless models (yeah not literally, they just don’t show the head) with a white background. I’m sure Mario Testino would be horrified but I much prefer that sort of layout than fashion shoots in exotic locations with half starved models. I can’t wait to get my mitts on March and April’s editions when I’m in the States in a couple of weeks. Also, they have an excellent toy (http://www.instyle.com/instyle/makeover) on their website whereby you can upload your photo and try on different hair and make up – a virtual Girls World I suppose. I have to confess the only reason I started to read it was because Carrie reads it in Sex and the City. The power of product placement.

Yay! I can see you! Thanks for the link. Your stripes are pretty fantastic as well!!
Cheeky? Good one!
